Darren primarily offers one to one personal training, strength and conditioning and nutritional services. Whether you are interested in weight loss, lean muscle gains, preparing for a event/competition, or simply just improving general health, Darren is a coach, ‘coach’ meaning he prepares actions specifically to match the clients current state and their goals, many trainers just put clients through non specific, generic programs week in week out resulting to them not matching their set goal or increasing the risk of injury.

My passion for health and fitness started as a child playing rugby for my local team, Waunarlwydd. Since then I have developed my interest in a range of sports including, football, snowboarding, running, badminton and gym based fitness. My interest in the fitness industry has taken me to New Zealand where I lived and played rugby for a local team.
In terms of qualifications, I gained a GCSE and A Level in physical education before completing my gym instructor level 2 and personal training level 3 with modules in circuits, gym based boxing and indoor cycling. I particularly enjoy working towards client specific goals, creating and developing exciting programmes that motivate and challenge.
